Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA)

Sri Lanka’s travel industry is effectively spearheaded by SLTDA or the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority. It is mainly involved in policy formulation, service quality assurance as well as providing tourists with relevant information about attractions and other services available in the country. Tourist Information Centers (TICs)

SLTDA operates several Tourist Information Centers across the country to provide on-the-ground support to tourists. These centers offer maps, brochures, travel advice, and assistance with bookings.

    Located at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), this center is the first point of contact for many tourists arriving in Sri Lanka.
